When was the last time you stopped and enjoyed the view?

I enjoy the moments of silence, being with myself and my thoughts, letting the answers come to me naturally. #mindfulness However, I am finding it very difficult because there is much to do! Isn’t there?

A few weeks, months (sometimes years) go by, and you suddenly realise that you have not stopped. You are feeling tired, bored and lacking motivation. You are trapped in the constant pursuit of getting things done.

Yep, I am one of those people…. but over the last year, I have been learning how to rest. I have been practising “putting the tools” down and enjoying the view for a brief moment. I was shocked at how hard it is to let go of your to-do list and relax.

We live in a crazy world of using the body and mind with minimum or no maintenance work, surprised when we are one step away from burnout.

Take a moment to see what is going on around and within you.

It’s never too late to start looking after your body and mind.
